A few things to consider:
Our
trips are for the whole family. Please do not send children
on their own for safety reasons.
The
trips last approximately 2 hours, which is a reasonable
concentration span for children.
The
trips are aimed at children from 4 years, but you are
welcome to bring smaller ones and babies, too (although
terrain might be tricky with a buggy), baby carriers are no
problem.
You
are responsible for your own safety and the safety of your
children. All children must be accompanied by an
adult.
Please
wear appropriate clothing (waterproof shoes and rain
gear/sun cream/hat)! It can be windy on the shore, so an
extra layer wonīt be any harm. Wellies are fairly handy to
prevent wet feet and a rain jacket is a precious
item...
Rucksacks
(for lunches and necessary items) are better than other
bags, as everyone will have their hands free to
explore.
Please
donīt bring your dog.
Feel
free to bring buckets, plastic bags, spades, binoculars,
hand lenses etc.. Kids love to collect!
We
will set out in reasonable conditions. Drizzle and windy
conditions are manageable with rain gear and warm clothes.
Come to the meeting point, the weather might be different
at the beach than at home!
