Maresa Gieles
Maresa studied Geography, Botany and Hydrology at the University of Frankfurt and University College Cork. She worked with kids and teenagers for over 10 years on voluntary basis in youth clubs and holiday camps in Germany. Currently, she is working for a solar company and in renewable energy issues. She is a specialist on the Heritage in Schools Scheme run by the Heritage Council and the INTO.
Benjamin Ladd
Ben is a carpenter and in his spare time a keen windsurfer. He worked as a childrenīs instructor at the Outdoor Education Centre in Kinsale, Oysterhaven Activity Centre and as a windsurfing centre manager in Egypt. He also completed a natural building course and thereafter built his own energy efficient eco-house. He has experience with lots of different green building techniques.
They have two children and live in the Gaeltacht, Coolea, Co. Cork
